K-12 Planet is a web-based software program that uses the Internet to provide secure access to information about your son or daughter at Hants East Rural High School.

There are several components to K-12 Planet, many of which have been implemented. At present, the attendance module allows parents to view daily student attendance records (for any month). The marks module securely posts individual scores and student report cards for each student. Under “Classes”, students and parents have access to class schedules and daily timetables as well as any homework, assignments or tests that teachers have posted for students.

To access student accounts, usernames and passwords are required. If you would like account log-in information, please send an e-mail to Mark Peveril at peverim1@staff.ednet.ns.ca.

Once you have logged in, please change your user id and you password. Please note the requirements for your password. Choose a password that is easy to remember and difficult for others to guess. You must type between 6 and 20 characters and include at least 2 numbers.
